These terms cover how you may use the Drams Direct website at www.dramsdirectonline.com. They apply to every visitor, whether or not you have an account. Buying and selling on the site is covered by our Terms & Conditions.

1. Who the site is for

Drams Direct is a marketplace for whisky. The site is intended only for people aged 18 or over who live in the United Kingdom. If you are under 18, please do not use it.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal use, to browse, buy and sell. You must not:

  • use the site in any way that breaks the law or these terms
  • try to gain access to accounts, systems or data that are not yours
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code, or attack or overload the site
  • use robots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy or collect content or data
  • impersonate another person, or misrepresent who you are
  • post anything that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights

3. Our content

The Drams Direct name, logo, design and the text and images we publish belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not copy, republish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

4. Content you add

Listings, photos, messages and reviews are provided by our users. You keep ownership of what you add, and you give us permission to display it on the site and use it to promote the marketplace. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

5. Information on the site

Listings are written by sellers, and we do not check every one. Descriptions, tasting notes, prices and any comments about value are for general information only. They are not professional, valuation or investment advice. Please make your own checks before you buy.

6. Links to other sites

The site may link to websites run by other organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or for how they use your information.

7. Availability

We work to keep the site running smoothly, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, for example for maintenance or security reasons.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Apart from that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or that results from your use of, or inability to use, the site.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in.
